I have been using Microsoft Dos and Windows only ever since I have contacted with computer. There were a few times where I had Linux installed. But in the end I was not satisfy with it. In the end, I had my Windows back again.
Currently, I have Ubuntu 7.04 Feisty Fawn installed on my desktop. It is still in dual boot mode. My desktop is AMD Athlon 2400+ with 1GB RAM and running five hard disks. So far, one of the shortcoming having Linux on my desktop is it does not have Creative X-Fi sound card driver! WTF Creative a big company without any Linux technical support?! Anyway, Creative still promised to delivery X-Fi by around Q3~Q4.
As for my laptop, I would also want to try out install Linux also. But, my works rely heavily on Windows environment. So tentatively, I am planning to install either on an external hard disk or running through LiveCD.
